DALLAS: Cowboys Game

I’ve recently become a football fan — a Dallas Cowboys fan. Why? I’ll save that for a later time.

For my first ever football game, I flew to Dallas for the NFL playoffs. What a time!

The Cowboys play at the AT&T stadium in Arlington, Texas which is the largest NFL stadium by seating capacity. It can hold up to 100,000 people.

The most impressive feature is the video board that hangs over the center of the field. The monitors are each 160 ft wide by 72 ft tall, and all of it hangs 90 ft directly above the players. This makes it so that there is no bad seat in the house. From wherever you are, you can look at this screen and see the game and what’s happening on the field crystal clear.

I guarantee you it’s better than any concert or stadium you’ve been to. The display is bananas!

There is also so much inside of the stadium to see and experience. There are 6 end zone platforms that give you a view to both inside and outside the stadium, and they each have standing tickets that allow you to watch the game without having to pay for a seat.

Inside, there’s also a gigantic Cowboys Pro Shop where you can go shopping for unique apparel and items directly from the team, some of which are even autographed.

The dopest part of the stadium is the Draft Kings Fantasy Sports Lounge for fans to pregame and watch the game. It’s located between the Cowboys locker room and the field, meaning the Cowboys players have to walk through the bar to take the field. The stadium was designed with the fan experience in mind, and that’s evident in this lounge. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to experience it this time around as the players have been rerouted to take the field another way due to COVID.

However, the absolute best part of the stadium are the fans and the energy of this place. Dallas Cowboys fans are some of the proudest and die-hard fans there are, and it shows (do not come for me lol).

It was exhilarating to be a part of that energy for a few hours, and to watch America’s team play in one of the nicest, if not THE nicest, NFL stadium in the league.

10/10 would recommend. #CowboysNation
