MIAMI: The Standard

If you know me, you know I absolutely love Miami. I even have a pseudonym when I’m there — MAYAMI (lol). I go down every chance I get. Not for the parties, clubs and the “scene”, but for the sunshine and ~vibes~.

I’ve tried a few hotels throughout my visits to Miami, but I always go back to the same one. My all time favorite - The Standard Spa, Miami Beach.

I will never get tired of this hotel. It’s located on it’s own private island, Belle Isle, right across the way from South Beach. This is what makes it so great. It’s close enough to everything, but still far enough giving you an opportunity to rest and relax if you choose to do so.

As the name suggests, this hotel is one large spa situated in sunshine paradise. Everything about this place has been designed to make you feel at your most relaxed and zen. There’s nothing over the top about it. It is simple, stunning and intimate. It’s not crowded in the way other Miami hotels are, so you don’t have to worry about fighting over a lounge chair.

There are many amenities, but my favorite are:

The garden with hammocks, surrounded by lush bushes
Fire pits
Spa
Poolside food & drink service

The poolside service is really unmatched. The staff are on point and so fun, and they make sure your every need is met. They are attentive and no matter how busy they are, they seem to always remember your name and keep a smile on their face.

There’s also a restaurant on site called Lido Bayside Grill that is outdoor, and perfect for all meals throughout the day including a nice sunset date. There truly isn’t something this hotel can’t offer!

Look at how gorgeous the entrance to that restaurant is!

The ~absolute BEST~ part? This hotel is adults only.

10/10 would recommend for your next stay in Miami!
